Visitors move through displays of vintage machinery, period photographs and archival material that together illustrate how tea cultivation transformed the Hill Country's landscape and economy. The working equipment on show gives a tangible sense of the processes involved in turning freshly plucked leaves into the finished product exported worldwide. Most tours conclude with a tasting session, allowing visitors to sample varieties produced in different elevations across the region. The museum appeals to those with a general interest in colonial and agricultural history as much as to dedicated tea enthusiasts, and its hillside setting affords pleasant views over the surrounding countryside.
